About Northend Guest House in Largs
Built during the 1930's, Northend guest house has recently undergone an architectural redesign and refurbishment which now offers 4 individual guest accommodation rooms.
Situated within its own walled and hedged gardens, access is by a secure gated entrance framed by an arch of cherry and rowan trees which opens into a gravel driveway providing private parking for up to 7 vehicles.
Beautiful country scenic views are enjoyed from both the property and its grounds across to the isle of Cumbrae, Noddleburn and through the vista of the Brisbane Glen. Northend offers a quiet location and relaxed stay whilst still only being a 10-15 minute walk along the promenade to the town centre.
Guest accommodation is via a separate private entrance door allowing unrestricted access to the reception area and bedrooms.
All rooms benefit from luxurious beds of both generous proportions and comfort (twin and single 6'6" x 3'0" with superking being 6'6" x 6'0") dressed with white cotton bed linen. Wall mounted flat screen televisions provide Freeview satellite channels. The added convenience of en-suite facilities which incorporate luxury shower enclosures (the Brisbane Glen room also provides a sumptuous free standing roll top bath) and illuminated mirrors completes the setting.
The Breakfast room is located on the ground floor adjacent to the reception area. Providing a light and airy environment, the room’s bay window frames glorious views over to Noddleburn and Netherhall whilst French doors open out onto a timber decked patio area.
